From 65d0dd5c57b1dcfa12c90dfebc6d5a157aad65b9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alon Levy Date: Sat, 25 Apr 2015 20:42:55 +0300 Subject: default rhizi-server changes: no root_path, no SERVER_NAME root_path will then default to the parent of the deployed rz_server.py, which matches our current deployment strategy, allowing running of rz_server.py from any current working directory (i.e. removing the need to do an additional change dir prior). SERVER_NAME is a layering violation wrt any frontend servers and/or iptable rules taking effect between the client and the server. Removing it allows the server not to care about the hostname and portname visible to the client. --- res/etc/rhizi-server.conf.example | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/res/etc/rhizi-server.conf.example b/res/etc/rhizi-server.conf.example index 5794d130..d47d2460 100644 --- a/res/etc/rhizi-server.conf.example +++ b/res/etc/rhizi-server.conf.example @@ -8,7 +8,7 @@ # General # development_mode = True -root_path = . +#root_path = . static_url_path = /static # ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- @@ -36,7 +36,7 @@ log_path = rhizi-server.log # Flask Configuration # - [!] SERVER_NAME: if adding ':port', this should match listen_port # -SERVER_NAME = rhizi.local:8080 +#SERVER_NAME = rhizi.local:8080 SECRET_KEY = notverysecretbutpeppyyaya # use with HTTPS: SESSION_COOKIE_SECURE = True -- cgit v1.3.1
