This is an example of a working google appengine setup. If you want to see it
in action, go to http://freebase-images.appspot.com/

If you are interested in incorporating the freebase-python library in your 
google appengine, you should download the actual code that runs the library.
If you say: 
 svn checkout http://freebase-python.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/freebase freebase
in the appengine folder, you'll be able to import freebase in your appengine
code without any problems.

In order to fully understand the example, an understanding of how appengine
works and what it does is neccessary. 

In this example, hello.py is the main program that controls four pages: 
mainpage, name, recents, and info. Name takes an id and returns the name,
recents gives back the most recent images viewed (this only works if you're
using a google account), and info takes an id and returns a list of images.
Mainpage operates most of what you see. index.html the django template that
is rendered. 

The freebase queries are not all the complicated. We have a few that simply 
return the name of an object given the id. The most complicated one, the one
that generates the images involves querying all the objects that are connected
to the supplied object and getting their images.
